ECHO
ἔχω (pronounced Echo) is a Greek word that means to own or possess. We want to help you own your faith and own ministry on your campus and for a lifetime. Echo is designed to be a shorter summer mission for students who need the rest of your summer for an internship, work, or classes. In your two weeks you will get a taste of a longer summer mission, be developed as a leader, build deep relationships, have a lot of fun, and grow in your faith. You will leave Echo with a deeper relationship with Jesus and more passion and confidence to live out Jesus' mission in the world.
We bring in great speakers and leaders for you to learn from. You will get some of the best training in spiritual leadership, evangelism, discipleship, apologetics, and how to lead others into a deeper relationship with Jesus and His mission. You will learn how to communicate your faith effectively in today's culture, and you will have several opportunities to put this training into practice as we go on campuses and into the city to have meaningful and intentional conversations about Jesus and the Gospel. You will get lots of practical training on how to communicate the Gospel clearly, how to listen well and ask good questions and how to respond to tough questions. You will learn about how to be a witness in your everyday live with your friends and family as well. You will learn how to disciple others and lead small group Bible studies that change lives. You will leave with a vision and plan for the steps of faith you want to take back on campus or wherever God takes you after Echo. You will also have time to rest and enjoy deep fellowship with other Believers. You will be mentored. Echo is a time when you can stop and have the time to really process your relationship with God and learn more about yourself and the beautiful work of art He has made you to be.
